How to use it — step by step

An easy guide to get it right first time. Full support on the phone if you get stuck.

  1. Measure and cut squareCut the pipe cleanly with a proper PEX cutter.
  2. Deburr and round the endMake sure the cut end is smooth and circular so it seats fully.
  3. Fit the insert / fitting to depthPush the pipe home — check it through the fitting's sight hole.
  4. Set the correct jawMatch the crimper to the fitting size (16/20/25mm).
  5. Complete the full crimpKeep the tool square to the fitting and close through the entire stroke.
  6. Inspect the jointCheck the crimp profile is even before closing walls or screeding.
