How to use it — step by step

An easy guide to get it right first time. Full support on the phone if you get stuck.

  1. Cut the pipe squareSquare ends ensure both pipe ends meet centrally inside the coupling.
  2. Scrape the welding zoneRemove the oxidised surface layer where the coupling will sit — this is critical.
  3. Clean and mark insertion depthDegrease, then mark half the coupling length on each pipe end.
  4. Fit the coupling and clampInsert both ends to the marks; keep the joint stress-free and aligned.
  5. Connect and run the weld cycleAttach the welder leads to the coupling terminals and start — the tool controls time and current.
  6. Let it cool untouchedRespect the full cooling time before moving or testing the joint.
