How to use it — step by step

An easy guide to get it right first time. Full support on the phone if you get stuck.

  1. Cut with the pipe sliceThe included slice gives a clean square cut every time.
  2. Ream the pipe endUse the included reamer to deburr and calibrate the end — protects the fitting O-ring.
  3. Push the fitting on fullyInsert until the pipe is visible in the fitting's witness window.
  4. Select the jaw sizeMatch 16, 20 or 26mm on the hand crimper to the fitting.
  5. Squeeze through the full strokeClose the handles completely so the crimp profile forms all the way round.
  6. Inspect the jointCheck the pressed profile before it goes behind plaster or screed.
