How to use it — step by step

An easy guide to get it right first time. Full support on the phone if you get stuck.

  1. Heat the welder to temperatureStand the tool up, fit the right size heads and let it reach welding temperature.
  2. Cut the pipe squareUse a PPR cutter for a clean end.
  3. Mark the insertion depthMark the pipe so you know how far to push into the fitting.
  4. Heat pipe and fitting togetherSlide pipe into one side of the head and fitting onto the other for the specified seconds.
  5. Join without twistingRemove both and push the pipe straight into the fitting to your mark — hold still.
  6. Let the joint setA few seconds to set, a few minutes to full strength — then it's one piece of plastic.
